Old Corn Mill is our largest property and a truly magnificent barn conversion with a full height, vaulted ceiling over the open-plan kitchen/dining area, offering holiday accommodation for six people. The barn was originally used for grinding the corn from the arable land that once belonged to the farm. The beamed, quirky character of this building is breathtaking. We love it and hope you will too.
- Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. On the ground floor is a pretty twin-bedded room, down two steps, which has an en suite shower room. On the first floor there is a further twin-bedded room with its own en suite shower room. Then there is the beautiful double bedroom with unusual 'paddle' steps leading to a magnificent bathroom, boasting a free standing, roll-top bath and lovely features right up into the eaves. The paddle steps are not suitable for the infirm and probably not a good idea after that last glass of wine!
- The spacious downstairs living area not only boasts the large open-plan dining and kitchen area, but a comfortable lounge, beautifully furnished. There is under-floor heating throughout, and a cloakroom with a bath and WC.
- A separate porch allows for child buggies, coats and Wellington boots to be stored neatly out of the way.
- Outside, there is a large shared courtyard and parking area, prettily planted with old animal troughs and feeders, and use of the gas barbecue, plus garden furniture.
